The weather this coming Sunday looks stupendous for Coney Island, and Eoin who usually organises this has proposed we grab the good weather. We had pencilled in Slieve League, but I can see it from my window and it hasn't moved and is unlikely to move for the foreseeable future, although sometimes you'd think Ben Bulben didn't exist sometimes. Obviously Coney is tide dependent and so the optimum time to go over is in the afternoon, and hence we would be back a bit later. But hey, you'd have all morning to do your own thing and then a pleasurable voyage over to Coney, where you can dip, get sozzled in Ward's pub, sunbathe, walk or .... The possibilities are endless.
