Agh.....We have 2 options this Sunday. Cuilc agh and Limn agh.
Both are 10km but very different terrain.
Limnagh bog led by Henk is about 10km on some road but mostly bog and forest track. In this weather, most tracks are mucky enough, so boots recommended and adequate raingear. For this walk, meet Henk at the Crescent, Boyle at 11am.. Expect to be out for 2 -3 hours. Any queries?? Ring Henk 087 273 3373
The other walk is Cuilcagh mountain led by Philip. This walk is also about 10km over rough terrain, climbing (>400m) and trekking. Expect to be out for over 4 hours. For this walk, please come well prepared with boots, raingear and adequate food. Gaiters and sticks are advisable as well if you have them. NOTE: This is not the board walk aka.. Stairway to heaven. It is from a totally different direction.
For this walk, meet at 10am at Mulveys Hardware store in Drumshanbo. (Eircode N41 RW62) From there we drive north to Dowra, turning right to Glangevlin continuing to forest track Bellavally gap.
