This Sunday, 26th February, the intrepid Lydia will be leading the walk in Glenfarne woods. She did not only reci this walk once, she did it a 2nd time. Thank you Lydia.
First of all, this is a C walk, about 12 km long, on gravelled track and forest path. It is relatively flat, along the shores of Lough McNean, with only a gentle climb. So it is suitable for everybody and I would imagine people will be out in droves, which is fine because there is plenty of parking.
Meet at the Crescent, Boyle at 11:00am or alternatively, if it suits, at the Ballroom of Romance in Glenfarne at 12.15, on the N16 towards Blacklion.
Lydia has arranged plenty of gems for this walk, so come along and incorporate a lovely walk with lessons in history.
