What's the lineup for this Sunday, you ask.
Well we have the two walks, one shorter and one longer. So first we'll hand you over to Denise and Caroline. And these two ladies are going to take you on the Crossna famine walk, which incorporates road, track and forest. Denise and Caroline will meet you at Clancy's.pub, Knockvicar at 11am on the R385. This walk is 8/10km and when this is finished you can enjoy an afternoon of activities in Boyle.: At King House, there is an afternoon of fun. Starting at 2pm "It takes 3 to tango" And then a Duck Race -at Boyle Bridge 3 - 4:30 and there will be a DJ and face painting and generally an afternoon of enjoyment. So hopefully you will support the walk and enjoy the day at the fundraiser afterwards. Organised by Boyle golf club, in an effort to make golf accessible to all. Good weather is predicted ,so meet Caroline 086 406 5610 and Denise 086 234 2999 at 11am Clancy's Knockvicar.
Fancy a longer one? Taking in part of the Bluestack Way in Donegal, we will have an early start for this. 18 - 20 km. Road, track, rough ground with a total of 500m climbing. Better wear your boots for this. Philip will be leading and we will meet at 10am Henry's bar and restaurant on the N15 for carpooling.. You might let Philip know if you are coming, and also please will you let me or Philip know if you will be passing through Carrick on Shannon or near there, to give someone a lift.
