Benwisken this Sunday folks. A climb up to 514m with a magnificent view. Philip will lead this one. Thank you Philip, and the plan is to meet at Henry's bar on the N15 at 10:30. So Philip will see you there 086 335 3000. Now we have another walk on the calendar...Streedagh beach. But no leader. So if you would like to take this one or another one more local to you, let me know 087 202 7513.
Now, you may or may or may not know, that a replica of the Spanish galleon, Galeon Andalucia , is arriving in Sligo on the 30th June. It will pause off the coast at Streedagh, and then head to Sligo harbour, where it will remain until the 13th July.. And you can board the vessel for a self guided tour. You have to buy tickets and probably better to book beforehand. If you search Spanish galleon sligo, go to the sligo council site option and information will be there, including the site for buying tickets. Or you can go straight to the ticket site at https://ticket.velacuadra.es/ the Spanish site .
