Good morning all. As per calendar, we have a walk in the Highwood region. Eileen has another committment, so Philip is stepping in at the 11th hour. Thank you Philip. and I will duly hand you over......
Meet Ballyfarnon - behind Shivnans Bar at 11am.
Walk 12km long, 250m climb, partly off road walking, boots and gaiter's. Reasonable fitness required, please phone Philip if you are unsure if you have the level of fitness required. 086 335 3000
Carpool to start of walk at Ballindoon Priory, walk climbs via Cromleagh Lodge passes Labby Rock and on up to Highwood, from here we follow coach road to Ballyfarnan by 4pm, to reward our efforts with some of the Black stuff.
