Well, we had 2 walks planned for Sunday. But of course the weather lets us down again. Maria was going to take us up Tievbaun in the lovely County Leitrim. And it is a lovely walk......on a good day. But rain and wind don't add to the atmosphere unfortunately. Maria will do this walk another day though, when it is nicer.
We have another walk though, in the lovely County Leitrim (population of which is now 20 per square kilometer) and we will add to that on Sunday. Philip will lead this one. Along Battle bridge canal to Crossna. About 10km. There is a place called Smutternagh near Crossna. Did you ever hear the like? Be embarrassing to live there. Anyway, Philip can be contacted on 086 335 3000 if you need to contact him. The meeting point for this is Clancy's pub, Knockvicar 12noon. Don't think they will be open at that time in case you have a notion about sneaking a little drink. And the eircode for this is F52 HP86
