2 walks on offer for this lovely Sunday coming. A toughy and a not so toughy.
Yours truly is leading a walk this Sunday in Leitrim. Up Largy wood and over to "Hag's Leap" previously called Eagles Rock but actually Cloontypruglish. This is the toughy and for this, we can meet at Henry's bar and restaurant at 10 30. This will be a climb and then up and down over rough terrain and expect to be out for 4 - 5 hours at least. And then Tom will lead you on a walk incorporating the Red Earl's Way. Suitable for all, easy going with the birds singing. And for this walk you can meet at the Crescent, Boyle at 12 noon. Need more details about this walk? Phone Tom 087 237 9632. To quote Hegsaiah "A highway shall be there and it shall be called the Red Earl's Way. The unclean shall not travel on it but it shall be for the Curlews people; no traveller, not even fools shall go astray" And Tom won't lead you astray. Philip will be on my walk so we won't go astray either

PS I have since been reliably informed that Smutternagh is in fact is a very pleasant place to live, and not a bit embarassing, so I stand tobe corrected..
