Walk Sunday November 19th 2023

Hello everybody. For you who would like to put in an extra walk, a couple of us are walking around Lough Easkey and surrounds this Sunday. A flat walk, about 12km, out for 3 hours, beautiful scenery, muddy start, so wear boots, bring some lunch, and finally, meet North end of Lough Easkey at 11:30 .
If you don't know where this is, you can find it on google maps. If you are coming from the Boyle direction it will show you a couple of routes and in my humble opinion although a few minutes longer, the road is much better if you head on the N4 towards Sligo. At Collooney roundabout, take the first exit and follow the sign to Ballisodare. At the first little roundabout follow the N59 towards Ballina. Go out this road and after passing through Dromore West take a left at the first crossroads (just outside Dromore West) signposted Lough Easkey and keep going til you hit the lake.
Regardless which way you go, it would be great to see you at 11 30.
Maybe if you go back through Ballisodare we could have a wee gargle in O'Connors in Ballisodare.
