The time has come to walk those roast spuds off and what better way to do it than along the canal from Battlebridge,Philip will take this walk along the canal to?Acres Lake, Drumshanbo and back. A total of 14km, that should go a good bit to removing the extra helping. The same extra helping that you said last year, that you wouldn't eat this year. Ah well. A little bit of rain is forecast but generally good. So bring a spot of lunch, all those sweets you are now desperate to unload and suitable footwear and raingear.
Meet Beirnes pub at Battlebridge at 12pm. Beirnes pub is on the R284 which is a turn on the left, at Leitrim Village travelling on the Carrick to Drumshanbo road. Eircode N41 XV90.
