Walks Sunday September 27th 2026

 This Sunday, we have a 2 in 1 in order to suit everybody, hopefully.....And the plan for the longer walk, is to meet at Castlebaldwin (car park} and then walk to Ballindoon Abbey to meet people for the shorter walk then upwards and onwards to Highwood.  All this, following the Miner's Way and Historical Trail.  Total distance is 10km and from Ballindoon, just 5km.  Doesn't sound too long but bear in  mind there is some climbing...not a lot, and rough terrain.  Meet Castlebaldwin at 11am and if you choose the shorter route, we will meet you at Ballindoon Abbey at 12 15 or thereabouts.  If we are a bit late you can have a goo at the abbey.  There will be a car at Highwood to transport drivers back to their MPV's.
